Good evening neighbors,
This is the standard message in advance of our monthly neighborhood meeting, reminding you that Thursday April 8th from 6pm-7:30pm is our next gathering to discuss, learn, and share together about items of neighborhood importance. But with a twist.
A number of months ago, we shared exciting news that we worked with TUSD to have our neighborhood meetings in the old Menlo Park Elementary School, whenever we felt it was right to do so. This is a neighborhood treasure and it is incredible to get to meet there. Every month for the last number of months, the MPNA Board has gotten together to assess whether we do each meeting on Zoom, or move to a hybrid model. We’ve obviously approached the issue with an abundance of caution, and have been doing Zoom meetings since last Spring.
With continued caution and a lot of consideration of a number of different factors, the Board has decided to hold a hybrid meeting on April 8th.
If you are comfortable and want to join us in-person at the School, we will be hosting a socially-distanced meeting, with masks required at 1100 W. Fresno St. in the large cafeteria. We will also be providing a Zoom link for you to join in virtually, if you’d prefer. We know that each one of us is in a different place regarding vulnerability, vaccination, comfortability, etc. Participate as you feel most comfortable.
Full agenda coming soon!
