SUMMARY:MPNA Neighborhood Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Our next Menlo Park Neighborhood Association Meeting will be at the Menlo Park Elementary School cafeteria. \nThe proposed changes to the Menlo Park Neighborhood boundaries will be discussed. A map is attached below to illustrate where the changes are proposed. This change is proposed in partnership with Barrio Kroeger Lane Neighborhood Association who has been in close communication with MPNA for many meetings. \nHoliday Potluck \nPlease bring a dish to share. Plan to join us a little early for conversation and to share food before we begin the meeting at 6pm. (We are mindful of covid-19 rates and encourage masks when not eating. We may also need to change plans if circumstances change dramatically.) \nWe will also introduce the Sharing Table. If you have elementary school-aged children you might know about the Sharing Table already. Please bring any unused\, unopened food\, toiletries\, or gently used items you are ready to pass on. If you’ve got a few things you’ve been meaning to donate to the thrift store\, bring it to the Sharing Table first to see if a neighbor could use it. Take what you need\, leave what you don’t. At the end of the evening anything left on the Sharing Table will be boxed up and donated. \nHope to see you all there next week. \nKylie Walzak\, President

SUMMARY:Menlo Park Neighborhood Meeting
DESCRIPTION:Hello neighbors\, \nOur December neighborhood meeting will be in-person at Old Menlo Park School (1100 W. Fresno). Seating will be social distanced\, masks will be required for this meeting. \nAs we work with the City of Tucson and The Planning Center on the neighborhood-wide survey process we’ve embarked on as part of our neighborhood planning efforts\, we’re beginning to hear what are the issues\, concerns\, and desires of our neighborhood for the future. We’ll get a preview of those results from Maria Masque from The Planning Center! \nGil Fimbres\, who has served as one of our two appointees to the Board representing Barrio Sin Nombre\, is stepping away after many terms of service to our neighborhood over the years. I will present my nomination for his replacement\, for your vote. \nWe will also have time to speak with our TPD representative Lt. Morales about current events and issues. \nDownload the draft agenda and draft November meeting minutes. \nThanks and see you soon! \n—\nZach Yentzer\, President \nMenlo Park Neighborhood Association\nLike us on Facebook
