Good morning Menlo Park,
Please confirm in your calendar the upcoming neighborhood association meeting on Thursday, September 12th, from 6pm-7:30pm at the Pima County Housing Center 801 W. Congress. ***See note at bottom of email.
This is an important meeting because it is our annual election of officers. All residents of Menlo Park are eligible! The following is the current slate of officers running for re-election. If you would like to run for one of these positions, please submit your name and position you’re running for to me by Friday, September 6th.
NOTE: Isabel Doe will not be running again for Treasurer. We thank her for her years of service to this association, and are grateful for her continued service in different ways in the years to come. Please thank her when you see her!
Zach Yentzer – President
Raul Ramirez – 1st Vice President
Wendy Sterner – 2nd Vice President
Liza Grant – Secretary
Open – Treasurer
Steve Brown – Parliamentarian
Matt Perri – Historian
Besides the election, it looks like we may also be able to reveal our new MPNA website at this time, and will briefly cover the Menlo Park School centennial celebration plans, key updates on Barrio Sin Nombre infrastructure investments, and other key updates. As always, this is your time to bring any concerns, thoughts, or ideas to the table for this Association to work on. Agenda will be in your inbox shortly.
Thank you for your participation,
****For those present at the last neighborhood meeting, please note the date change in your calendars. The scheduling conflict that led us to consider moving to the 19th has been resolved, and we will be keeping the meeting on the 12th, the second Thursday of the month. Thanks for your attention.
